On this gondola ride, you sweep down low from the Grimsel Hospiz over Lake Grimsel and across beautiful moorland to Lake Oberaar. During the 30-minute trip in two stages, you can experience the breathtaking alpine panorama from a whole new perspective.

Important Information about the Oberaar Area – Summer 2026
The Oberaar Gondola will operate from 26 June to 4 October 2026, providing access to the Oberaar area as usual. Due to renovation works, Berghaus Oberaar will remain closed throughout the entire 2026 summer season.
The Oberaar Panorama Road will also remain closed for the whole season due to construction works.
