The annual Alpenbrevet is the largest mass cycling event in Switzerland. On one day, 3,000 participants cross up to 5 passes with a total of 7,090 meters of altitude. For all participants, co-organizers and spectators an unforgettable experience in the Swiss Alps.The annual Alpenbrevet is the largest mass cycling event in Switzerland. This cycling event is a round trip and not a race. The riding experience is in the foreground and at the end of the day all winners celebrate their success together. Start and finish is the popular vacation resort Andermatt. Participants of the Bronze Tour start in Obergoms.
Every year, the Swiss Cycling Alpenbrevet is not only a highlight for international cycling enthusiasts. The inhabitants of the surrounding area have also come to appreciate the annual event. Hotels and restaurants flourish and the warmth of the locals contributes significantly to an incomparable event in the Alpine region.


Safety note
Safety is our top priority as organizers. On 03 September 2022, a high volume of cyclists is to be expected on the roads throughout the day. For general safety, it is called upon to avoid car trips on the day of the event, if possible, or to plan according to the volume of bicycles.
