Glide in a cable car over the Grimsel hydrolake from the Hotel Grimsel Hospiz to the foot of the Sidelhorn mountain from where you can start the hike up to the peak of the Sidelhorn and the hightrail to Trübtensee. It doesn't get any easier! This cable car was once only for KWO workers and has been opened up to the public - opening up this amazing hiking area on the watershed between the Aare and Rhone rivers between north and south. Grimsel Power begins here - in this unique alpine landscape abounding with water.
